The musings of a befuddled disciple of Jesus, finding herself in the tradition of Deborah's thinking, Sarai's laughing, Hagar's weeping, and Mary Magdalene's worship. Please join in the conversation.
She's adorable. Thanks for sharing the video of her.
This is just so CHARMING! She already has the foundations of conversational exchange established. All that's left now is just the addition process. Man, that is one lucky pair of kids!
Hi Emily,I enjoyed your perspective on homeless requests for money, etc. I noticed you are at the University of Dayton and so am I. I am in my second semester and commute. Have you interacted with the homeless men who panhandle at exit 51 off of I75? I usually give them a granola bar or a snack bag (never money). They seem appreciative, but their presence at that exit is chronic and they seem to have a network of how they station themselves each day. Any info would be appreciated. I cannot find anything online about them. BTW -- I could not email you for some reason and I don't do FB.Thanks!Tracy
Dear Tracy,Honestly, I don't know anything about the homeless presence at that corner. I think I would concur with your choice to provide food rather than cash in that case, though.I'm not sure why my email didn't work for you. If you'd like to use my UD email, its firstname.lastname@example.org.What degree are you working on, Tracy? Blessings,Emily
Hi Emily,Thanks for the quick reply! I am surprised you haven't noticed them - every morning and most afternoons they are at the on and off ramps to Edwin C. Moses. I am in graduate school studying Integrated Science. Won't be long before the semester starts again! :)Take care,TracyP.S. Thanks for the email address :)
