My caption is: "Emily is still working on her paper at 11:41 PM and unsuccessfully fighting the feeling of hopelessness and despair, so she turns to an amusing photograph to distract her attention."
The random musings of a befuddled disciple of Jesus, finding herself in the tradition of Deborah's thinking, Sarai's laughing, Hagar's weeping, and Mary Magdalene's worship. Please join in the conversation.

Emily,
Hope you are well. Sounds as though your life schedule is frantic. Continued Grace for your journey. With that, I am...

"Lord, for that which I am about to receive I am thankful."
I once began a shakespeare paper at 100 on the morning it was due.
I recommend Iron Maiden's "Live After Death" and Starbucks Sumatra coffee for when you have to keep the hammer down through the night.
P.S.
*gives you the power*

Your insight into most everything, :) is awesome and a true blessing to me. Thank you for your prayers, phone calls and emails when I needed to vent or just to be reminded that God was there. You are a WONDERFUL friend and have been a welcome blessing to me... bye and lots of love, traci
I hope that you can remember that you are more than any paper . . . sermon . . .degree.

Tim, Paul, and Peter: thanks for your words of encouragement.
Judy: you are so right. I have remembered that. God has been good to give me peace in these last several hours finishing up my final paper. Thanks.
Traci: I'm going to miss you too, my dear. I already miss your weekly presence with us. But, you know I'm supportive of your and yours doing what's necessary to stay connected to God and God's family. You've been a joy to know and love, too.
Grace and peace to all,
Emily

(If you've never heard of LOLcats, go to I Can Has Cheezburger? asap)
I eat this part - you go 'way!
I'm going to state it and then elucidate a bit:
"Be still and know that I am Catfood."
Not only is Ms. Special Kitty here asleep in her dinner, she seems pretty comfortable there. Or perhaps she just passed out from all of her kitty business during the day.
Like Ms. Special Kitty, we should be so into our Sprirtual Food, that we should be resting right where we are eating. More of us, including moi, need to go to sleep more often with our Bible on our chest. Go to sleep and wake up with Our Daily Bread on us and in us.
Y'all have a fine weekend. Hope your preacher puts on a good "feed" Sunday.

Faced with the eternal dilemma, ms. kitty decided she could have her food in a cake-pan and take a nap too.
